Organizational Information
- The Japan International Transportation Institute, USA (JITI) was incorporated on August 22, 2008, in Washington, D.C., as a not-for-profit research organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code.
- JITI's mission is to conduct comprehensive research of contemporary transportation issues and make recommendations regarding United States and international transportation policies for the public welfare.
- JITI took over the research activities held by Institution for Transport Policy Studies (ITPS)/ JITI Washington DC office.

JITI is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, nonpartisan organization. All donations to our organization are tax-deductible within the limits of the law and will be used to fund our research initiatives and public education seminars.
